One, for non Torres Strait Islander children to learn about and associate with Torres Strait Islander culture.
Also, for Torres Strait Islander children, particularly those living outside the Torres Strait, to connect with their culture.
The Torres Strait has various islands within 5 regions. This makes the Torres Strait home to various different language dialects.
These cards themes are present throughout the Torres Strait.
The language included is a combination of Creole and language within the Kulkagau Ya dialect.
