Each year, Songlines Art, Culture, Education collaborates with a talented First Nations artist to bring an artwork to life in classrooms all over Australia — one that honours culture, tells a powerful story, and supports educators to embed Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander perspectives in meaningful ways.
We are currently seeking expressions of interest from Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander artists who would like to collaborate on our 2026 Artwork Collection. This is a paid opportunity to co-create original artwork that will feature across our classroom décor, teaching resources, lanyards, and more.
We’re looking for artists who:
Have a strong cultural connection and authentic voice.
Are open to creative collaboration and storytelling.
Are passionate about education and cultural empowerment.
Whether you’re an emerging or established artist, we’d love to hear from you.
👉🏾Complete the Expression of Interest form to apply or find out more.
Together, let’s continue creating impactful, culturally safe learning spaces for the next generation.
