Embed First Nations perspectives every day, with confidence and integrity.
This is more than a workshop, it’s a journey.
At Songlines Art, Culture, Education, we believe that embedding Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander perspectives shouldn’t just happen one week a year. It should be a living, breathing part of your classroom, your practice, and your culture as a team.
But knowing where to start, and how to do it authentically, can feel overwhelming.
That’s where we come in.
Our Embedding Culture Coaching is a research-informed, culturally respectful program designed to help educators and leaders reflect on their own practice, plan meaningful steps, and build the confidence to embed First Nations perspectives all year round.
If you’re ready to move beyond tokenistic “theme weeks” and make real, respectful change, this is for you.
Reflect
We start with a foundational workshop, helping your team reflect critically on your own position, knowledge, and biases. Together we map where your current practice sits on the continuum from tokenism to embedded cultural responsiveness.
Plan
We guide you to develop a practical, 12-month Cultural Action Plan tailored to your team and setting, aligning with your curriculum model (EYLF or Australian Curriculum), and your unique community.
Act & Reflect
We support you with ongoing termly coaching sessions, helping you reflect, adjust, and stay on track as you implement your plan.
