The Earth Indigenous Nesting Doll Set includes 5 hand-painted, wooden pieces depicting animals of the earth. The set of five nested animals, including a Kangaroo, Emu, Echidna, Lizard and Snake, celebrates and recognises Aboriginal histories and culture that is easily integrated into the Early Years Learning Framework and the Australian Curriculum. Designed to celebrate Indigenous cultures, assist children develop skills in sequencing, patterns, counting and imaginative play. A great way to begin conversations with children and embed Indigenous perspectives in your educational or home setting. Artist Leah Brown is a proud Garawa and Mara woman from the Roper River area of the Northern Territory, she currently lives on Dunghutti Country, NSW.
