Description

With the help of this instructional resource, students create their very own bunting that includes recognising The Traditional Custodians of the Country they are living on.

Resources to assist completion of this are the AIATSIS Map of Indigenous Australia, your local Aboriginal Land Council and community Elders.

This is a fantastic project to complete on the first day of classes!

Upon completion of each student’s flag, hang the bunting all about the classroom. A straightforward but impressive classroom decoration made by the students themselves!

All about me picture

I teach prep to year 2 and all the students loved sharing information about themselves.

Always was. Always will be Aboriginal land.
